I just found out in another thread that you have to list which guns you want to carry on your CCW permit, and that you are limited to three. I thought you could carry any gun you owned with a single permit, and the gun didn't need to be listed. Since I can only list three, I was thinking about which ones I should list.
1) First I think I want a very concealable compact 9mm. Either a Shield or Glock 26. I don't have either right now, but I am sure one spot on the permit will be for a compact 9mm.
2) Second I want something big with a lot of powder, but still comfortable to carry with a jacket or something to hide its bulk: No 8" 44 magnum or 454. Maybe my Glock 20 or my 4" 357 magnum. I would carry this in case I was attacked by an engine block
. Actually it would be for when I am close to the woods and may wander into a populated area where ultimate concealability is not needed. These two guns would still have power at extended ranges: past 50 yards
3) I am not sure about spot three. Maybe my Colt Officers 45ACP
What three (of your own guns) would you list, and why?
.
