Save yourself the hassle I went through... I have a box full of leather and kydex holsters. Go win the a Sticky model MD4 a fits in the waist - comfortable - can't tell it's there - inexpensive.

I don't get it….how do these things work? Sometimes I wear shorts that are a bit loose…how would it work in that situation? What if your pants/shorts, whatever aren't real tight…wouldn't that thing fall out?

BDC's OWB holsters are very well made.

Yes and their prices are reasonable. It's nuts to be paying much more than $50 for a holster.

Crossfire holsters makes all different kinds of IWB for the shield. I really like them.

Ozark holsters makes good stuff as well.

I have BDC OWBs and matching mag pouches for two of my M&Ps and like them a lot. The only reason I haven't ordered one for my Shield is that I have a Crimson Trace Laserguard on order for my Shield. I can't afford a TT-Gunleather (my personal favorite) holster and matching magazine pouch right now so last night I ordered another favorite - a Custom Carry Concepts' Quick Cover.

I'm probably one of the few who has had bad experiences with PJ Holsters, where I needed to heat them up to make them fit better or to fix the belt loop (on a Shield and LCP holster). I didn't bother sending them back since I was told it would take 2-4 weeks before he could get to it and fix it.... and it already too almost 2 months to get in the first place. You can find similar stories on different forums if you search, but just giving my personal experience with them and I won't be using them for another gun that I have.

I've had good luck with AP Holsters and Badger Tactical Concealment holsters, which is what I used for my LCP and Shield. Getting another Badger holster for my G42.

Yeah, I know, they look as if it is not secure. But they are. The exterior is made of a rubber like material that grabs whatever garments you wear. I wear loose shorts and t shirts, no problem. I prefer this over any of my costly, uncomfortable kydex holsters. When I first started carrying I would sport the kydex holster, but after a while you settle for comfort and concealability. Allegedly the Serpa 410501BK-R can be made to work. I only use Serpa holsters & there is a vid on youtube of someone using it with the shield.
