I've had a Shield for about a month now and I'm not liking the holster I have for it so I'm thinking about getting something else. Can anyone make some recommendations for a quality comfortable holster they have had luck with? I know holster selection is subjective for each person but just trying to get some ideas. Also looking for a IWB and a single clip.

I bought one from kaosconcealment at the last gun show. Good product and nice guy. He's based out of Bakersfield.Comment

It's not adjustable but you can specify any cant you would like. I went with the deep cover cant, which is approximately 30 degrees, for ultimate concealment. Faliaphotography has a great review detailing the differences in cant depending upon how and where you plan to carry.Comment

I really like the Custom Carry Concepts' Quick Cover for 4 o'clock carry. The offset belt clip and extra thin kydex make it comfortable, at least for me.
*Edit: He also makes a version for the Shield with a Crimson Trace Laserguard installed.Last edited by sholling; 04-13-2014, 1:21 AM."Government is the great fiction, through which everybody endeavors to live at the expense of everybody else." --FREDERIC BASTIAT--

I use a crossbreed holster at the 5 o'clock for about a month now. Since the shield is so thin, it is super comfortable to wear all day. Sometimes I forget it's there.Comment

The fate of the wounded rest in the hands of the ones who apply the first dressing.

I've heard good things about Black Dog Concealment and will probably give them a try. The first link is their OWB with an adjustable cant. The second link is for their IWB with a single clip. It's a wide clip, so it looks like it would not be prone to shifting or tilting like some holsters with clips can. They say it can also be worn OWB between your belt and pants; that could be desirable for those who can only afford one holster. They have another style of IWB too if you look around on the website. Click on the Order Online buttons for more info.

I'm using a Multiholsters Kydex single clip IWB. Fit and finish are quality and I find it comfortable. I'd recommend them.Comment
