A CZ 75 Sp01 fits the purpose. Besides, its been said many times to be the best variation to date.
It has a newer style grip that fits the hand much better than the older 75b.
It has a rail that helps both muzzle flip and allows to use a accesories. Like a flashlight for HD.
The running price should be anywhere from 579.00 to 629.00 online. Add dros tax and an ffl xfer.
It will be just over 725.00
The gun is worth it. And if you do the cajun gun works kit, you may never find another gun you like more.

My vote is on the SP01 or SAO (the arguably hardest variations to find), but I think any CZ will probably fit the bill. If you have trouble with slide manipulation, my suggestion would be to get a lighter recoil spring. I stuck an 11# recoil spring in my SP01 and slide manipulation is much easier.

I prefer DA/SA pistols, so I love my CZ 75BD.

Cz is good to go. Finding them is the hardest part. They don't stay on the shelf long. Just spoke to Dave at cgw about converting my 75b in. 40 S&W to 9mm. He didn't have the slide in stock and told me to contact cz USA about getting the parts to do the conversion. This might be an option for you because for some reason the 75b in 40 doesn't sell as fast as the 9mm ones.

Just as a side note David said he was able to do the conversion from 9mm to 40s&w. Pair it with a kadet kit and you can shoot three calibers with one platform.

Yup. Me too! My CZ 75BD is easily now my favorite gun. Even like it a bit better than my P-01.

Just go straight for the regular SP-01 in 9mm. Shoot some rounds to see if you can tolerate the trigger, if not you can always turn to Cajun Gun Works or CZ Custom and they will be glad to steer you in the right direction.

I actually just went to the range today and shot my one of my bone stock SP01's. First 10rds all went in the black bullseye on a 12" target at 10yds
My dad shot it for the first time and was pretty impressed with the results he got.
