    2 mags is not enough

I own a pistol that will be falling off the roster in a few months and its hard enough to find magazines for it right now so it would seem that it would even more difficult to find them later. Meaning this company probably wont bother making 10 round magazines for this pistol. Is that reason enough to trade or sell it? I do love the pistol but 2 mags is not enough for any situation. (I am not one to hold on to it so I can price gouge later)Just looking for friendly advice. Thanks

I don't think so sir, that wouldn't make much sense for those reasons, especially since you also did say you love the pistol.

What firearm? Is it really that hard to find magazines? 1 or 2 more and you should be fine.

for $45 each when you can find them or some calgunners want as much $60 each. I like to have at least 6 mags per gun that's $180!

I think letting us know what firearm we are talking about about would enable us to provide useful feedback

Hell no. As I understand it, M&P mags use regular full capacity springs in them anyhow, so replacing worn springs or followers shouldn't pose a significant problem down the line. Just bit the bullet and buy them mags wherever you can find them for now. It's not like California is the only state that has a 10 round limit in mags anyways, I'm sure S&W will keep making 10 rounders for a while.

It's not worth it to sell a gun you love just for that, take the loss, then spend even more money than you would have on mags for another gun. But if you're looking for an excuse to sell it to buy another gun, well then, have at it I say!

I've eventually found M&P 9mm 10 round magazines. They do pop up.

Now M&P 22LR 10 round magazines have been pretty much impossible.

They aren't going to stop making 10 round magazines for the M&P line anytime soon. There are other states with the same restriction that they sell to.

Those mags will pop up...even if you do pay 45, you wont loose any $ on them

Find a ffl w/ a "hi-cap" magazine license to block standard cap magazines for you.
