If you are in SJ County check with Elite in Manteca or Tracy Rifle and Pistol, or Alquist in Turlock. They should be able to get you a 19. I love my 226, buy both if you can afford if.

It can be concealed reasonably well, even in the summer. I did it with a P226 for a number of years. Instead of trying to cover with just a t-shirt, consider a light weight short sleeve button down shirt a size larger than normal, just leave it unbuttoned you should be good to go.

I like mine, the only issue was the stock mags. Has had no problems with the Mec Gar.

With that said, I think its a bit on the large side to CCW in a IWB unless you're a very large guy. After all, if your carry gun isn't comfortable you won't want to cary it.

Paid for it today. Unfortunately it comes with no magazines because our almighty state government decided that standard capacity magazines are available to Law Enforcement personnel only. I ended up buying a few factory magazines making the grand total: $548.94 for a Police trade-in Sig P226.

One thing I did like about the piece is that it does not have that crappy magazine disconnect some of the newer models come with. All in all, I am excited about the new addition to my growing collection.

ahhhhhh the joy of buying ahhhhh. Yeeeees, the pain of buying separate mags. Like you, bought 2 separate mags when I bought my used P229.

                            Congrats! on your new toy.

Is that grease on the rails or is that wear?

Mostly grease but there is some wear on it.
