You have a mag funnel, target sites, and a laser light combo
its like a hybrid between a race gun, a range gun, and a HD gun

Yep, perfect for everything.
I only keep the light on for night matches.
It just happened to be on there when I took the picture.
Not shown are the large capacity mags with +6 Arredondo bases...
The trigger is also around 2lbs and has a total travel from shot to shot of about 0.1"Randall Rausch

I hear ya man. I should be ordering a 9mm reamer when I get all the parts for my 9mm major race gun (1911). I'll just reamed it then, for now it's factory ammo or my special reloading die for this Glock.I can fix those lone wolf barrels for $10.
They just need to be reamed to a standard spec and reloads will start dropping right into them.
I've always thought that a IPSC limited class gun combined with night sights and light is the perfect fighting gun. I would sure hate to be in trial if ever I used one to defend myself. Prosecutor probably can't wait to ask what are all that modified and added stuff on the gun. If it's an all out free for all, my IPSC guns are my first choice. The wise man said just find your place

Id rather shoot my G17 over my G19 due its weight which is a tad bit heavier, longer barrel, and its full size...In my opinion the G19 is more suited for a concealed carry due to its small size and weight. The G19 is a compact pistol which you really dont see it too much as far as target shooting or comps go, even at that there is the G34.
I feel that most of the compact pistols out there are for concealed carry and or a shoot with a smaller framed.
Just my 2 centsComment

Having gone through quite a bit of training the last 2 years i would go with a Glock 17 or Glock 19.
I used a Glock 22 and did well, but it is more difficult to shoot a .40 than a 9mm.
It is more expensive to shoot too.
On the other hand alot of LEO agencies are going with the .40 cal round from what i hear.rmjrprotectsComment

You mean the ones in down the street from your house?
Personally, I find that the G17's grip is ergonomically CORRECT compared the G19. I owed a G23 for over a decade (same frame as G19) and thought it was great until I shot the G17. Then I figured out why the G17 just fit and felt better, it was the ergonomics of the grips. The full size frame comes up right on target for me...I can't believe that I'm about to say this but....it comes up better than my 1911's!
The 19's grip is a "compressed" version of the 17 grip so the geometry is incorrect compared the G17. I finally understood why a cut down G17 into a G19 "size" was such a popular modification. It retains the correct geometry of the grip rather than keeping the correct "silhouette" which is only about aesthetics and actually ruins the handle of the Glocks. This is why a G26/27 doesn't feel "right" in my hands either.
The extra length in the slide also helps with sight radius which helps with accuracy. I shoot a LOT better with my bone stock G17 than any other standard size Glock (meaning non-extra long slides) I'm almost as good with my stock G17 as I am with my Ed Brown SF...of course, the EB is a .45 ACP.
