Glock's Missing "Compacts"

Glock in general has a problem with fat slides. I compared a Glock 26 to a P239, holding both in my hands, and the advertised difference in width is negligible, but you can feel and see the difference drastically. I do care how short the barrel and grip is, but if it isn't thin it just wont fit on a slim person's profile very easily when concealed.

And millions do it year round, you just need the proper setup and of course you can't dress like a hipster in saggy skinny pants.

I would have never known. I appreciate you sharing personal experience, but it's not my style. I'm still fairly set on the PPS.

We were discussing the size of Glocks, and obviously if you're going to carry, one of the things you have to look at is a Glock. I weighed in on the Glock 29 because I would rather carry a 10mm, and shared my perspective on the Glock 26. Or you could just read the thread skinny jeans!

hehe, never gonna happen. I'd love more thin Glock styles. You could really put almost any caliber in a profile like that.

When Glock first released the 29/30, they were marketed and sold as compacts.

When Glock released the 36, the 29/30 were rebranded as "subcompacts" so that the 36 could be marketed as a slimline "subcompact".

If you physically compare them to the other Glock compacts and subcompacts, the Glock 29/30/36 are closer to the size of the compact sized Glock 19/23/25/32/38 than the subcompact sized Glock 26/27/28/33/39.

I'd like Glock to make compact, single stack models in 45 ACP and 10mm. The G30 and G36 are too bulky for my hands. I'm content with Glock's 9mm models.
