    S&W SD9VE

I just started my DROS on a new S&W SD9VE. It was an impulse buy just to get another handgun. I plan to install an Apex trigger upgrade. Does anyone know a shop in Southern California to do the install. I live in Temecula so somewhere not too far. I have assembled many AR lowers but don't feel comfortable doing the install myself. Thanks

Before you drive too far, check with Faith Armory in Temecula and The Shootist in Murrieta

I did it myself using YouTube, it's not bad! Save your money and buy ammo.

I did mine on Youtube guidance. It was easy.

Thanks for the replies. I get to pick it up Monday, and plan to take it out and will update you. I'll start watching some videos on the apex and see what I decide to do.

Just shoot it as it is. Put at least a few hundred rounds through it before you change anything. This will let you make sure its reliable in its factory configuration so if you have problems after the install of the apex kit you'll know what is causing the problem. Also the trigger on that thing isn't as bad as people like to make it out to be. Yeah its heavy and kinda long. Its supposed to be. Master it as is and you'll notice you will shoot better with all of your guns.

+1 It'll likely be my first handgun as well, I can't bring myself to spend another $200+ for a comparable polymer handgun when I've seen nothing but positive reviews of the SD.

I already have a few other handguns this was a purchase to get another handgun. I will shoot it first to see how bad the trigger really is.
