SP-01 Tactical is a great deal for $675 before tax and fees. Usually see it for that price online before transfer fees. Tactical is about $100 more than the regular. Great pick up.

Congrats, yeah the oem spring is heavy at 18lbs. CGW swapped mine out to 13lbs when I sent mine in. Heavy recoil springs will lead to slide stop breakages.

OP, did you really seek out a decocker version? I think that's more uncommon so truly a good pick up! Congrats again!

Congrats OP. I believe Reeds have some CZ 75 SP-01 as well.

are you happy after shooting it? i was a little let down at how difficult mag changes were.

Why do you think mag changes are difficult?

they dont seem to fit well in the magwell. i always have to reduce the number of rounds from 10 to 9 and even then they dont slide in and out quickly imho.

of course the sp01 is my first cz and they may all have this issue for all i know.

That's strange. I don't have that issue on the SP-01 or the regular CZ75B. Only thing for me is the mag brake on the 75B but that's not a huge deal.

i havent yet had a cz expert shoot my new sp01 so i dont know if its just me. maybe i should just send it back to the factory for service.

i will say that out of the box the sp01 was the most accurate 9 i ever shot.

More happy about the SP01. Haven't had any mag problems with either CZs...

Not a bad price, I paid $635 plus DROS and dealer fee for mine from Hinterland in September of last year. But I had to wait almost a year.

Honestly, I wanted a safety version as my 1st CZ is a decocker version. I am so accustomed to 1911s, safety version of CZ was my natural interest. But the decocking variants are just fine too. Hopefully, I can find a safety variant to compliment this one....

Well my first SP-01 was had at $850 OTD, the tactical was a lucky find last year as it already fell off the doj list and I got it for $750 OTD. But CZ's are always hard to come by, they'll pop up every for a minute then go away so you have to watch you LGS. I'll be selling my stock standard SP-01 in a couple months as I get closer to getting a shadow to help fund the purchase. But I'm not letting it go until the shadow is about ready to be delivered, cause knowing my luck I'll sale it and the SSE will go away and I'll be stuck without.
