    Finally, SP-01!!!

After being patient, I finally was able to find a CZ75 SP-01. Joins an ever-growing family .45 ACP and 9mm... Now, I need to find a compact CZ75.

After reading all the rave reviews, I'm interested now too. How long a wait was it for you? Where did you get it? Any tips on how to go about getting one?

Honestly, it took me months to find one. I asked my LGS (City Arms @ Pacifica) to call me if they finally were able to get one delivered.

Got it for $675 not including tax & DROS.. Probably overpaid but I rarely see SP-01s locally, so I decided to just get it before I regret it.

675 OTD isn't a bad price at all. Good job, all the cz I've seen are well above 700

Sorry about that.. $675 before tax and DROS.... LGS has a CZ75 TS, interesting piece but not sure it's for me. They had a P-01 but it sold before I could get the cash to get it...

Did you get a Tactical (decocker) version?

Also, do they have more in stock?

                    Nice, congrats brother!

Before you know it, your sig line is gonna take up the entire computer screen!

Good price, too! That's how much those handguns are selling for online, and most of them are the "9" SKU version, which requires SSE. So factor in SSE fees, transfer fees and new 10-rd mags, then you are hitting close to $1,000. So you scored!

Enjoy it! Range report in 10 days or so?

They don't have any SP-01s in stock but they have a CZ75 TS in stock. First time I've seen one.

Once I got it out of jail, today.... took it home for some Ballistol cleaning and then headed out to the range. I really could tell the added weight compared to my DB Police version. It could just be me but the recoil spring seem to be a bit stiffer too. Probably because the DB Police had more rounds thru the pipe. Like all CZs I've tried the SP01 just fits right in my hand. Zero FTE or FTF, as I expected from a CZ. Used some Winchester white box and Tulammo rounds. I should have taken some pics but I wasn't at the range for too long as I wanted to watch the Warriors game...

^^^ Oh, so you already picked it up. Nice. Thanks for the range report. Yeah, it's got some heft to it.

Do you hold it differently than your BD Police (decocker vs safety)? Which one do you shoot better so far? Or at least prefer to shoot?

Held it the same way as the DB Police. Both are decocker versions. For now, I do shoot the DB Police a bit better since I've shot it more but I have no doubt that the SP01 will equal or surpass the DB Police once we are better acquainted. Then again, I shot my MC Operator better....

Next project is persuading my cousin who will be moving back to the Philippines to sell back my dad's old HK P7M8. With a round count of only 200rds and all the original paperwork and box, I'm expecting to pay quite a bit for that P7...
