      Also, stop looking at it closely. No matter what your purchasing reason was, these ARE "combat" pistols and the fit and finish is often appropriate for that use. It's common to find dents and imperfections in the polycoat. It's guaranteed to find rough machining in non-critical areas as well as coating overspray. Your magazines are going to have scratches from the mag catch after you insert them a few times (not CZ-specific). Your barrel hood is going to have wear marks after just a few rounds.

      Stop caring. This isn't the gun to buy for a safe queen collector item. It's a shooter that will retain its value (for those you're going to hand it down to) even with signs of wear. For some firearms, all of the value is in the quality of the finish. This gun swings hard in the other direction and its value has little to do with how new-in-the-box perfect it is or isn't.
