    Glock 26 squib!

So I was doing some training today when I heard the dreaded hiss. No boom. Squib.

So I proceeded to drop the mag and clear the chamber. I then disassembled my glock and checked the barrel. Just as I thought, a squib.

At least you noticed it before something bad happened. Imagine how bad your day would have been if you were doing a rapid fire string and didn't realize the issue before you pulled the trigger again.

Yeah I was told to rechamber and fire, but I watched my buddy loose two fingers to not recognizing a squib before he attempted to fire again... So needless to say, I'm very paranoid about misfires/light primer strikes. I'm just thankful To have all 10 digits.

wow, thats scary. i'm thinking that it doesn't eject the casing so even if you did pull the trigger again, its not like a new round is loaded, right?

It didn't eject but I heard a hissing noise so I didn't even risk touching the trigger again. Don't want my nickname to be stumpy...

Good restraint and great catch OP. That damage pic is pretty scary, scary stippling job too.

Reloads from the wrong source can be disastrous. Glad you were able to notice the danger before you popped off another round. Surprisingly my only squib round ever was from a .45acp Remington UMC mega 250 pack.

The reloads were from lax firing range. They have their own ammo brand.
