Glock 42 Problems?

Have any of you Glock 42 owners ran into problems with yours? I was thinking about picking one up and saw this article:

I'm wearing of these types of articles. If there are reports of issues at least cite sources so we can read up on it. I'm always skeptical of "more reports coming in..." etc etc...

We'll see how the G42 does, but I'm taking this article with a grain of salt.

I saw this one hearsay account story about someone said they had a barrel problem on one gun out of 130,000 shipped so far.

The gun owner claimed factory ammo, thru the dealer, who told his third cousin who mentioned this a gun writer. This involves one issue. (More likely reloads)

In the meantime I've run 250 rounds of all types thru my G 42. 100% perfect.

Others have run a thousand rounds, 500 rounds, no problems.

I am happy with my G 42.

If in the future some issues surface, Glock will take care of it.

I have 3 brands of ammo and will try my new 42 for the first time today. ... so we'll see. ... dry fire feels good.

I never had any problems with my gen4 19 so hopefully my luck continues

500+ rounds so far without any gun related problems. My 42 has been awesome!

I find the quality control acceptable. If Glock sold 1,000 and 10 were defective it would represent a .01% rate. .001% if it were on in 1,000. Most manufacturers have a 2-3% QC rate.

Also, I have only 100 rounds through mine, all ball, but it ran excellently. Hoping to put some of my carry ammo through it next weekend when I get the chance to get to the range again. Holster should be in soon so I can start carrying it.

Main problem about the G42 is that its chambered in 380
