Darn you guys, I like the trigger but may have to invest in the USB and fully machined sear. Anyone in the bay area want to help/install it for me when it arrives?

really isn't that hard..... their youtube install videos are pretty thorough... took me less than an hour to get striker block and machined sear in and i had never done any work other than changing out grips and sights before (other than disassembly for cleaning etc)

All you need are some punches, a small hammer, a piece of molding and an extra pair of hands.

That is all I had when I installed my FSS at a range bench...and without an internet connection

I may have to try it, I work on cars and fix everything around the house. Just a little nervous with a gun as I have never worked on one and well, if I screw something up the consequences are greater.

Went out and shot my New M&P9 on Saturday. The test fire 9mm casing that came with it has a date of January 3rd 2014.

Trigger was not bad at all compared to other guns I have shot. I removed the Magazine disconnect on it Friday, and also dry-fired it probably 100 times or so. There is a hint of gritty-ness and the trigger reset is not as easily noticeable.
Accuracy was good and I shot 200 rounds and it ran like a champ. I may in the near future replace the trigger with the polymer AEK trigger, but otherwise I am pretty content with it for now.

The gritty feel come from the striker block/trigger bar inferface...S&W didn't change this

Polishing and recontouring the striker block will cure that...or you can install the Apex Ultimate Striker Block
