Well you're definitely going to want some Punisher grips on it. If you want it to be badass.

BUT I DONT WANNA STEP BACK FROM THE COUNTER!!!!! I WANT MOAR!!!

anyways good insight night sights and accy rail is redundant now that was pointed out, once i get off work i will check out that museum listed, my heart is leaning towards the sa operator because that was the first firearm i ever fired Sig still has that promo going on for the free 22 1911, but SA cust service is also important to me so many choices, didnt realize this platform would get so complicated and i kno myself, after i finally get one, down the road ima want a custom one, now im freaking out (not really) but im going to get one soon one way or another

To be BADASS you need some tacticool buzzword emblazoned on the slide. Something like "Expert Professional Tactical Badass Operator."

That way everybody will know you are BADASS!

Or you could go Dan Wesson and have a BADASS 1911 that not everybody & his dog has.

By the way... "BADASS 1911" is kinda redundant...
"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."

1911 is >100 year old design. Don't be a Luddite ... by something newly designed. Newer is better.

You could get SA operator, Sig, or Ed Brown.
I am not a big fan of 1911, but if I have that much money to spend in 1911. I would get Ed Brown or operator.

Please show me to where I could get a Brown for $1500.00. I was pretty sure that place only existed in my wildest imagination...

To the OP, if you're going to spend $1500+, you might as well step away from the production 1911's and spend the money for a semi custom, meaning Dan Wesson or Les Baer. A Kimber Gold Match or Springfield TRP will be close and both are fine guns.

I say this from experience. Started with a Kimber CDP, then got a Dan Wesson Cbob and now I have a Les Baer Monolith on order.

                Good luck.
