Back in the day, I owned a SW M58. It was a great weapon, plenty of power and very accurate. I bought it while I was in the Army, when I first started thinking about being a cop. It seemed like the M58 .41 Mag was just the ticket for a duty piece. Of course, that was long before I understood how LE agencies work.
No agency anywhere I ever worked allowed the .41 Mag. The M58 eventually went away in a trade many, many moons ago.
