I run conversion barrels in my 23 and 27 with nearly 600 rounds between the 2. I've had 1 failure to eject and I've mostly run reloads. I've seen many other weapons that run less reliably in factory configuration

Do it. Hundred guns later I find my Glocks to be reliable durable and easy to shot fast and well. I own a 21 36 and 17. Had many others. These are my favorite Glocks.

Thanks for the input, I've been on the fence for a year between the 23 and the 19. I wish more people with conversions would chime in and offer their experiences.

I grew up shooting .45's, specifically Colt 1911's. A fine piece of craftsmanship for sure. Own one, and would never give it up, but I find myself carrying my G21 or G23 everyday. You can't beat the weight/firepower IMHO.
