    Want to try a Glock.

Ive owned many pistols but never a glock. Never really been a hater but I prefer full metal handguns. The simplicity appeals to me though. I have a 1911 and a butt load of .45acp so I was thinking the 21. Maybe a 17. Anyways dont have the funds yet trying to sell this baby Beretta to get one.

Do it. It wouldn't be your last Glock.

I recommend trying a full size (G17) and the compact (G19). The fullsize Glocks don't fit my hands very well, but the G19 is perfect for me.

Can't go wrong with Glock 19 for sure.

^ I perfer the fullsize versions... and even the standard (non sf) G21/20 frames fit me pretty well.

Rent one and try it out first. You may hate the trigger comparing to 1911 trigger.

I was a glock hater for years and never had any reason to be. Grew up shooting 1911's and wouldn't even touch a plastic gun. Finally i broke down and bought a g35 to start shooting comps. LOVED IT!!!! A month later bought a used g22 and this is my goto favorite pistol to shoot(well just got a PPQ and WOW). Now i compare everything against my glocks. The ease to break them down and function are just hard to beat along with tried and true reliability.

I would say try one first but you will not be disappointed!

I had the same feelings. I have two sigs for over 20 years and had 1911s and S&Ws along the way.

Decided to carry (ccw) and wanted a lighter, simple gun so I got the 26. I then removed the P220 from the license and added a 30sf.

I'm thinking about a 32 next. Watch out cuz it'll grow on you.

                        Cannot go wrong.

                        G21 is a fine gun.

                        Good luck!

I have nothing but good to say about my G22. Will be getting the G19 once I get my coupon from GSSF.

Just waiting on my federal return to buy a G19 myself. I've rented it probably half a dozen times over the last year or two and I shoot it better than any of the pistols I own.

Somewhat torn between the 23 and the 19 though. The 23's I've tried were also excellent, but I'm still just a little faster getting back on target with the 9mm. But, ammo prices are just about even now between .40 and 9mm, and in CA being limited to 10 rounds makes me want to have the best 10 I can have.
