Why? I hate glocks. Anyone who knows me knows that I look down at em.

The gun, straight from the factory, weighs 41 oz. The SSP division weight limit is 39 oz. .

        75B ??? No problem.
False. Weight rules for IDPA as of 2013. It depends on what you want to do with an SSP or ESP weapon. For ESP you can add external modifications to the trigger, mag well, etc. Speaking generally, a SSP the firearm must remain "stock" to remain in the class.

ESP - The unloaded firearm with the heaviest magazine must weigh 43.00 oz/1219.0 grams or less
SSP - The unloaded firearm with the heaviest magazine must weigh 43.00 oz/1219.0 grams or less.
        IDPA: A53884 - ESP EXP
        USPSA: A88221 - Prod/G

^ Thank you for correcting me. Not sure if/when the SSP weight restriction changed. Source was brianenos.com: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/inde...owtopic=159254

Edit: I see now that IDPA changed the rule book on 5/7/13 to increase the max weight from 39oz to 43oz. for SSP. http://www.balloongoesup.com/blog/idpa_rulebook_updat/

I'm partial to the SP-01, since I own one. Wouldn't mind picking up a 75 though, that's for sure. Unfortunately it'll have to wait though, as I just bought a Ruger LC9 for CCW. After the class, fees, holster, etc., my CZ 75 money just went bye bye. Maybe in a couple of months.

              ^^^ Well, numb nuts...

If you were to follow these 3 simple rules, you wouldn't have that problem, would you?

Depends on the shipper and receiver. Some shippers won't even ship to CA, they say that in their listing. Others don't have a problem, I bought two guns from gunbroker and it went smoothly.

As far as mags, if your receiving FFL has a high cap mag, they can receive them. Whether they'll block them for you is another issue.

Ok, I'll pay attention to that. Thanks for the info!

In which way does this relate to what our banter is about?
I follow them every time I hold my guns, loaded or unloaded. I was referring to the weight of the gun. And I hate glocks. Looking down = disliked. I'm not stupid enough to look down the barrel of a gun.
