PM SentI'm looking at a 1978 vintage D/W pistol pac that looks unfired and has the bright blue finish. It has everything except the hard case they usually come with, 2,4,6 and 8" barrels, multi tool and extra sights and grips. Asking $1000 but I can't quite justify it. I'd like to hear from other D/W owners about it's actual value as the Blue Book value appears to almost be a joke. I realize there is often a CA premium involved.Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

It sounds reasonable to me as well. I tried out (dry fired) a bunch of DW 1911s at SHOT Show this year. Extremely impressed with them. Amazing trigger right out of the box and superb fit and finish.Comment

I have a 4" 15-2 from that time frame & it is an outstanding revolver. I might use the lack of the original case as a haggling point but $1K would be very tempting to me. The finish on those older DW brings teh

I see them for $1,000 out here, so that seems reasonable in California.Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

Forget the case does it have a belt buckle, 'cause that would seal the deal for me.Comment

Wow, I think that is a great price, and for me, who cares about the case if the gun was never fired. that is a find! I own two DW autos and love them. I have a few 1911's and I shoot my DW's the most. I say grab it!1 John 4:15 "Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God."Comment

I sold one of mine about 5 years back, it included the case and still had brown wrapping paper, all the extras and vent heavy 2.5", 4", 6" and 8" barrels with their wrapping paper for $1,500.00. I'm told it sold in about 15 minutes of being put out.I'm looking at a 1978 vintage D/W pistol pac that looks unfired and has the bright blue finish. If your up north there is a one for sale in the market place complete with case and belt buckle. I don't think it's unfired but it looks like in good shape.
