    Glock magazine stiffness

Just picked up a Glock 22 a few weeks back. My first Glock purchase and not regretting it thus far. My only complaint seems to be the stiffness in the stock mags. Rounds 8-10 seem to be EXTREMELY hard to place in the mag (as in harder than any other Glock magazine I have dealt with in the past). Any remedy to this? Should I leave the magazines full for a few weeks?
God may have made men, but Samuel Colt made them equal.

Send me pics of your: Colt Detective Special, AMT Hardballer, pre-64 Winchester Model 70. I'm looking for them.

      Yes

I have a 10 round G19 mag and have never been able to get the 10th round in.

Yes...oddly the 10-rounders are always stiffer than the regular capacity mags.

It's a pain in the *** to get my loaded 10 round Glock 30 mag to seat (10+1)

10 round magazines are unusually stiff because of the possible penalty for stacked tolerances in byzantine states like CA.

Say you live in America. If you buy a 15 round magazine, and it accidentally fits 16 because of some freakish stacking of tolerances, you say "that's odd" and you go on your way.

If you live in California, and a 10 round magazine accidentally fits 11 rounds because of the same stacked tolerances, even if the tolerances are in the ammo itself, you're a felon. So, 10 round magazines are built in such a way that they will never fit 11 rounds, but that means they might not fit 10.

Yes, you CAN fit a case of shotgun shells into a .50cal ammo can.

I think i found an optimal solution for ammo can labeling.

I made this target for the NRA's Marksman pistol test. I think it's a lot better than the paper plate they suggest.

Just shoot it more. My dad gave me a glock 19 he bought in 2006 with 2 original mags. It has well over 5000 rounds through those 2 mags and they load the last round pretty easy now. Its still stiff but not a pain to load the last round.
These 2 mags are now range mags. I bought new one for the rare occasion I carry my glock.

Not only can the 10 rounders be harder to load to capacity, but they can also be harder to seat in the magwell. I spent some time shooting out of state and man, I really noticed a difference

Kust shoot it more or use snap caps or rounds and load it and unloaded it multiple times, after about 50 loads and unloads it will load fine.

Any parts kits (not rebuild kits) that can remedy thi situation in full compliance of CA laws of course?

From my experience, putting a lot of rounds through my buddy's 23, you just have to break them in.

Yep, not unusual for a Glock mag.

Funny, it was my Glock 17 mag that made me buy an Uplula. I don't regret that purchase at all.
