My Gen 3 was cured after replacing the old ejector with the new 30274 as stated above and the good folks in Smyrna replaced it under warranty paying for shipping as well. However, it took two attempts. The first time I sent it back to Glock asking for the new 30274 ejector, they insisted the problem was "fixed" and sent back my gun--with the old ejector. Still got brass to the face. After calling them again and insisting they replace the old ejector, they relented and did what I asked them to do. So be persistent. You should not have to spend your own money to fix their defect.

However, sometimes it's just the nature of the beast, and some people (like me) have fun and take pride in buying the replacement parts, if they're not going to be overly expensive - in this case only $25 in parts, and dive into the gun and replace the parts yourself. You get the satisfaction and gratification knowing that you are now more familiar with your gun, the insides & out of it by having taken it apart, learning firsthand how the parts work, replacing the parts and assembling the gun, and then going out and testing your resolution.
Sometimes, that's just faster & easier than dealing with return shipping & RMA's.Comment

Not to mention the Glock must be the easiest handgun ever to strip and replace parts. My G17 Gen 4 hasn't had an issue with erratic ejection, but my G34 Gen 4 did... I installed the Apex extractor and it now ejects in a nice pile over my right shoulder.
You're right, you shouldn't have to spend money to fix a factory defect.

I'm having the same issues with my Gen3 G34. I already replaced the ejector with the new Gen4 30274 and also the lone wolf plunger spring. It improved the BTF but still having this issue 1 out of every 10 shots now. I am on the fence of whether or not I should go with the Apex or purchase a new Gen4 extractor as mentioned by INFAMOUS above.Comment

you can try wear a baseball cap. most of my rounds were flinging/raining down right at my forehead. smack right between my eyebrows (People were looking at me weird, ahaha, i had carbon marks all over between my brows). The baseball cap help deflect it to the side.Comment

The 30274 Ejector may fix it for you.
You can buy a Gen 4 trigger housing+ejector from MidwayUSA for $8: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/225...m-generation-4
Take the ejector out of that housing and put it in your Gen 3.
Sending in your G19 to Glock won't get you anywhere...they will shoot a few magazines through it and say it tested fine., I had a hot brass getting wedged between my shooting glasses and my eyebrow , not pretty
. I did my fair share of research , and replaced the ejector with a gen4's ( ask me why glock changed the ejector) and now , the brass are all being ejected to 4 o'clock .
