So, next New Years Eve or Forth of July when a bullet falls from the sky and does some sort of damage, can the victim sue Disneyland for it's demostration and practicing of unsafe gun handling tecniques? Maybe, if the shooter gets caught, he can argue that he felt it was safe becuase they allow it at Disneyland. The pirates do still chase the ladies. It has, however, been modified so that a (roughly) equal amount of ladies chase the pirates too.
Yes, the guns are back on the jungle cruise, but with a change. Years ago, they used to "shoot" the animal. Now, they "shoot" up into the air (so safe), turn to the passengers and announce that they have "scared the animal away".NRA Certified Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor

Alright it's our boys birthday tomorrow and we'll be going. I'm going to ask to get some close up pics from the tour guide.I think it can be confirmed that an alien xenomorph is absolutely no match for good ole' Alabama black snake!

If you're in a survival movie and the hot blond twists her ankle and can't walk, you damn well figure a way to carry her. If it's a dude, you shake his hand and say "best of luck".Comment

I worked on the World Famous Jungle Cruise in the 80s
Back then, the revolver was a real Smith & Wesson Model 64 in Stainless Steel, 4" barrel, fixed sights. It fired .38 blanks, and could also shoot real ammo. However, after one of the hippos developed some mysterious holes, the guns were modified with a sleeve in the barrel. If someone tried shooting real ammo after that modification, they would have a real bad day. The guns were locked up every night and placed in a metal carrying case. A graveyard shift maintence worker would then take the gun carrying case and soak it in oil every night for a few hours, and then take it back to the ride before opening. In the morning the guns were covered in oil (even the wooden grips); so they required an extensive wipe down every morning.
When I worked there, the sign used to say "World Famous Jungle Cruise." After I left, the "World Famous" part was removed. Coincidence? I think not.Comment

Sven79, welcome to Calguns and thank you for your contribution to the forum, that's pretty cool info.
But, you've revived a thread that was laid to rest (with honors) almost 18 months ago, which is sort of frowned upon. So I'm going to lock this one up; I strongly suggest that you start a new thread if you wish to continue this topic.
Thanks!/Chris
I have a perfect Burning Man attendance record: zero.
You do know there are more guns in the country than there are in the city.
