'Cuz big holes are easier to see.

You can correct my spelling and grammar error anytime.
I welcome it. How else would I learn.

I saw the same one today, and got wood. I guess it made it back on the list. I thought perhaps it was a consignment piece. I think I'm going to beg, borrow, and plead, maybe even promise and threaten, to get the funds together for one.

I have a part time job, and could really use this pistol. I'm a mother luvin PIMP! ya hear?

Now, the DE Mark XIX's are all made in Israel (IWI-Israel Weapons Institute) and imported by Magnum Research. (Still made and what you see mostly today)
I'd check that timeline, 5150. The very first Mark XIX Desert Eagles (even more rare than USA and IWI models) were still made by IMI.

My 44mag/50AE has the flaming sword IMI grips and is marked Made in Israel.

Reliability wise? It's been running flawlessly for years.

no, its not a good price, its full retail

you can find them cheaper, on here and at various consignment shops. But, is the extra work to locate one worth your time and money? And most guys who do a PPT aren't going to take a credit card

Hey the grip may look huge, but once you hold the DE and actually compare it again others for finger reach you'l find it's the same or smaller than a S&W 500.

I have a DE in 44 and I have shot over 200 rounds through a rental S&W 500. Love them both.

Considering that not too long ago, guys were buying the base model and then spending two to three hundred bucks (not to mention waiting while their babies went off to a custom shop) on hard chrome or nickel plating.

Looks like a good deal to me, realmswalker. Magnum Research lists retail for the Black DE at $1440. Typically nickel, gold, hard chrome finishes run between $220 and $360 more.

Once and for all is IWI- Israeli Weapons Industries or Institute?

I honestly only knew what IMI meant (having several of their products going back to the Action Arms days). I've yet to see an IWI in the flesh (or plastic and steel) so to speak. I also wonder if its the same mfg only under a new name.
