I carry a PM9 as a back up, I am very accurate with it. But not a huge fan of the trigger. My feelings while pulling the trigger are, take up sucks, brake nice, reset sucks. But that said Kahr has done a nice job with their line of sub-compacts, the trigger takes getting use too but if your not a jerker you should have no problem shooting them accurately.

You should run the Kahr trigger just as you would a revolver trigger...a well tuned K-frame trigger...because the journey is the worthier part...The Shepherd's TaleComment

I own and carry the CW9 as well. The trigger you describe is normal for that gun. It was designed to mimic a light double action revolver type feel. I've noticed it's almost always the older revolver guys who seem to love it but the newer shooters that were brought up on Glocks and other lighter striker fired pistols seem to immediately hate it. Which is sort of ironic because the Kahr is striker fired just like the Glock, it just has a longer pull.I have a Cw9 I use for daily carry, but I am having serious issues with the trigger. It has -- for a lack of better term -- sloppy.
It feels like the spring is really spongy and you can audibly hear a creeping sound on the take up and it breaks really far back in the trigger guard. So much so it causes me to flinch every shot and pull low left (-2,-2).
Because the frame is so thin and the break is so far back in the trigger guard, my trigger finger drags along my support hand and frankly it kind of sucks to shoot.
Is there something wrong with it? Anyone else have this problem?
All I can recommend is keep shooting the pistol. Just focus on the front sight and pull straight and smooth through the entire arc of the trigger and try not to think about when it's going to break.Comment
