Trigger work?

I have had bill do work on a series of things and he is always lightning fast and easy to reach.

Do you recall which month you sent in your parts?
It seems he ls always backed up. I ended up buying extra FCGs while waiting for the ones he was tuning. Sold my Geissele triggers after trying his level 2 AR trigger.

I'll take my trigger job over a $300 job by a pro that gets the same results.

By the way what do you think they do to get that fine tuned trigger. They put in light springs & get out a polishing stone.

I've never paid $300 for a trigger job, but what you pay for is to have it done by someone with the knowledge and experience to do it right. To advise someone with no gunsmithing experience to just polish and swap springs on a 1911 is just plain irresponsible. I've seen too many amateurs turn a perfectly safe handgun into a ticking ND time bomb. Heck, I wouldn't even trust an average gunsmith with my 1911s.

Taking a polishing stone to an AR fire control group is just going to cause premature wear and failure and swapping springs can reduce reliability by causing light strikes.

In quite a few guns, it's more then just polishing. Take cz, you actually are changing the angle of the hammer hooks and sear. With 10/22s it's common to either weld or epoxy the sear/disconnector to build it up to remove take up.
