EBR Works website says they have a universal SSE kit.

They are my go to FFL for SSE.

Thing is you might need to find that gun somewhere else.

Though J&G Sales IS California friendly; from what I know they won't ship off roster guns to CA.
        Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Do you want to pay an extra $50 to $70 SSE fee for a $200 gun?

Try calling PD Gun and Tool Supply in San Fernando. Good luck!

Does anyone know if Sacramento County will approve for CCW carry an off-roster M&P Shield 9mm?
              Thank you.

One man's junk is another man's treasure Aside from being in the impulse buying mood, what made you interested in this model specifically?

I want a cheap toss around 9mm that I won't care about it getting scuffed, my other 9mm is a cz 75. price seemed cheap but you guys are right, 200 plus sse fees, transfer fees, taxes and it's not even a quality gun.

Yes. I haven't had any issues with off roster guns.

                          (Sorry for off topic reply)

I would recommend you look into SSE this gun instead:

It will even use your CZ-75 magazines.

Anyone who can SSE a CZ can do this one for you.

They are getting real popular in Free America and their prices are starting to go up. But, if you look hard enough you can get it for under $300 or just over for the poly framed version. When my Mom bought mine about a year ago she got it for about $329 OTD with 2 extra magazines.

thats a nifty looking piece. I guess since it will take the 10 round CZ mags that would be the work around once SSE'd then
