Just sold one a couple months ago here in TX, but it was an early '80s stainless one that looked very much like yours does. Bubba had struck and drilled and tapped (poorly) a hole in the topstrap for a scope mount. I shortened a setscrew to fit the hole just so it didnt look completely craptastic. I got 1500 for it, cash, and I probably could have got a little more. Yours? I'd put 2500 on it, especially in CA.

An 8" Python in Electroless Nickel just sold here in CalGuns, asking price was $2,800.00 Firm. Sometimes, people will pay a premium because certain guns only come up for sale here in CA every once in a great while... I think I'm guilty of that.
