Ok to the Sig came home yesterday and we went to the range to break it in.. The stock mags are Chip McCormick and suck... Wilson Combat mags are being ordered for it. For the this gun is steal . Very little play and all the features you get on guns costing 800-1000 more. It is even dehorned at the factory.

Wanted the Colt, didn't have the loot to spend on it

That Sig "could" be a tougher gun than that Colt.. I have read reports that there has been some cracking on some of the USMC Colt models at around 12K rounds... anyone else read that?

In the future though, buying something because it's cheaper instead of the thing you truly want often ends up being more expensive in the long term.

It's a keeper, I will get a custom kydex made for it and it going on my carrier. Just need to break it in and make sure it is 100%. This one is going to be a shooter for classes and what not.
