    Got a nice surprise today

    Hey CalGuns, today is my birthday. So I stopped by my parents house to barrow my dad's tumbler and see the rents on said birthday. So just sitting there hanging out my mom tells me to go get her Ruger .22lr from her safe. (yes her gun her safe, lol) I went and got it and she says happy birthday, that's your present. Needless to say I was pretty shocked.

    So here is the reason for sharing, gun porn.

                          Thanks guys.

                          Yes I'll file the DOJ form tomorrow. I think the barrel is because of it being a target model. Its not a stock gun either. Replaced springs, jeweled bolt, trigger work.

                                          Ruger MK series with Slab Side barrels. Kinda get harder to find nowadays.

                                                      MKII Competition Target model. I got this 6 7/8" barrel model a couple weeks ago. Not quite as nice as the OP's though.

                                                      In this application it's actually functional. A jeweled surface holds oil better than a plain polished one. And yeah. LOOKS great!
