Here are the slim profile Slants for reference. Personally, feels good when gripped for my small-medium hands. The texture doesn't seem too aggressive that the sharp edges feel like they are digging into my hand.

            Raasco grips

Check out Raasco Grips. Ay color you could possibly want. Also the checkering in the laminated wood is very sharp and impressive. I bought a pair for my Colt and ordered another set for my RIA.

I have the diamondback grips on my pistol and they are great. I was worried they would be too rough and aggressive but they are perfect. Worth the $$$ for sure!

Anyone with OD/Grey Operator II grips interested in trading LMK.

Got these off my buddy a week ago, Love them but I like the look of operators II's. These came off his TRP Operator. I believe they are LArry Davidson grips. Im not even sure if anyone sells this but SA, Direct for LD.

Awesome pics and thanks for the suggestions. Picking a color is the hardest part. Figure I'll wind up getting a few different looks. I'm on the fence between hyena brown, black desert sand and black gray.

I just bought the VZ Operator 2's and they are rough.....It feels like Im holding a cheese grader. I sanded them down and they are more manageable but Im on the fence with keeping them.

I have operator 2's on 3 of my 1911's, super tacky grip on them and honestly, i dont think they abuse my hands, i regularly shoot 200+ rounds a day with them and never have an issue. i ride a keyboard all day so my hands are pretty soft.

I am really liking my new grips, had rubber wrap-arounds on it for over 30 years. I had to sand them lightly to reduce the sharpness of the grip cuts, as recommended by VZ.

                              standard.

have I ever felt/handled the slim, no & I don't want to simply because I might like them and then I would have to replace alllll my other VZ grips... I don't have that kind of money, even with the current 25% off
