Wrong. The 5mw lasers used in handguns will not cause damage unless you stare directly into it for a period of time.

However, it will temporarily ruin an assailant's night vision.

I like night sights, but I'd rather have a light than a laser on my handgun, but prefer not to have any stuff hanging off my handgun.

Thumbs Up for Trijicon Night Sights.

sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? Or at least send them to re-education camps.

Hahaha, lasers are neat if you're playing tag indoors.

Crimson Trace don't hang. I use Trijicon on the same gun that has CT... have Meprolight on a USPc and actually like them better for function (quicker acquisition), but they are a bit crude looking (not as refined as Trijicon)... Ameriglow on a M&P Shield - I like the bold orange ring on front sight (very quick acquisition)... and SigLite sights on a P938 - so yes, I'm a fan of night sights too...

For those that think Laser sight on a pistol is for noobs and/or first gun... I've had many pistols for many years - I use laser on my bedside gun (as well as night sights and weapon mounted light), functional purpose not for tacticool... but it always amazes me how so many wannabe experts insist their view is what everyone should follow.

          Use what works for you.
