    C&R/03 FFL Process?

Anyone done it? Any pointers for paperwork and what is needed? Live Scan, etc? Also, do I need both if my aim is to do away with my 1 in 30 DROS?

    ...and read for 15-20 minutes.

Nothing like re-beating a deceased equine.

If you're looking at weapons at least 50 years old, it's the ticket. It also allows you to buy weapons of the same age group when you're out of state.

The license fee will be saved with discounts through Brownells, Midway, and a bunch of others if you're interested.

True wealth is time. Time to enjoy life.

Life's journey is not to arrive safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy schit...what a ride"!!

Thanks man. If you read my post for 5 seconds you'd know that's not what I'm trying to do. Why respond if it caused you so much grief?
My question was more about the ability to forgo 1 in 30 wait. Thanks again to anyone who is familiar with the process and may not mind sharing how you did it.

In theory, yes you can forgo the 1 in 30 wait but it all depends on if your FFL wants to do it or not. Some will and some wont. It has to be entered in correctly too.

Also note that you have to courtesy mail the local police chief a copy of your 03 application. I didn't hear back from him. Regarding the COE, its mostly a waste. I never used it and it is an annual renewal.

Also note that Midway usa stopped giving FFL03 discounts, they said that if you used coupon codes like everyone else, you would get better discounts.

Isn't the COE necessary to do away with counter 1 in 30? Mailing out my 03 tomorrow (with a copy to LPC)

That is correct, also echoing the above regarding the 1 in 30 being up to the FFL, you won't be able to use it at any FFL, they have to be willing to do it.

That part I have covered. Haha, in fact my FFL begged me to do this. I'm killing him with my back log of pistols.
