    AK Pistol?

    I need your help...

I'm very interested in an AK pistol but don't know which one is a better choice: Draco or Yugo M...? If I'm going to spend $700-800 on a AK pistol I want to make sure that I buy the best in that price range...

I haven't shot an AK pistol but the look is what's calling me (I know it's going to be a novelty to say...). How fun is it to shot, being that it's a single shot? Your opinion please!

If other thread exist with good advice on this topic please let me know.
    BANG!

I don't think you can go wrong with either but I'm partial to the Yugo.

Different types of AK pistols one is not necessarily better buy most people will prob say the Yugo since it is 1,5mm receiver.

It only has to stay single shot til after the dros then you can use up to 10 round mags.

Are all Yugo's 1.5mm? I read a review from a different forum that not all Yugo's are 1.5mm...

What gun store do you recommend or website? I'm in Riverside/San Bernardino area...

I want to say $800-850, they were on sale for $679 during their month long anniversary sale this year.

After dros...the only change would be the mag right? Instead of having a 1 round mag, I could then used my 10 round mag but is there any other changes needed?

I only have experience with the draco. Reliability was flawless. Cheap to feed. Surprisingly accurate. Its so much fun you think its a novelty. I strapped it to the side of my fishing/ hikeing backpack. Also packed it in the boat. Its a handy, very powerful pistol. Everyone should have one.

The fit and finish on the yugos are better. If you find an affordable draco pick it up.

Just to reiterate what someone already pointed out: it's the single shot only until you pick it up. You then convert it back and shoot 10 round magazines. Unlike most other handguns, you CANNOT use 11+ magazines even if you owned them prior to the ban - with AK/AR pistols you are in the AW territory, not just the "magazine capacity manufacture/sale/purchase ban."

Any handgun is fun to shoot and the AK/AR are no different. They are novelties, but unlike many big bore revolvers, they are also cheap to shoot and have very little recoil. Follow your heart.

How difficult is it to convert it back? I'm good with the hands on projects if I have pictures or a vid to follow.
