What are your impressions of the G19? Did you do lots of research and whatnot or did you just know you wanted a compact 9mm? Did you debate on 9mm or 40sw calibers? Im asking because I plan on getting a G19 or G23 as well. Your thoughts and insight about your new gun purchase will probably help me to decide.. I think..

When I decided on a Glock 19 I rented it first at the range and loved it. Since the 19 was my first pistol, I wanted something reliable and cost effective to learn with. Being able to afford lots of ammo to shoot and become a better shooter was important. I know plently of people with 40 and 45's who always complain they can't go to the range blah blah not enough funds. I figured whats the point in owning a pistol if you don't shoot it.
