OP is suggesting (I think) that the "Punisher" plate on the Glock will make lawyers bunch up their panties and throw you in prison because it IMPLIES that you are a gun nut, just waiting for people to come in so you can shoot them.

      Technical issues I see...

Holster ... if the holster is not velcroed to the dresser, that's a liability to you because you need both hands to get it out of the holster before you can point it a the bad guy standing in your doorway.

Night-sights ... I don't think this is an issue, but others argue that the guy wasted money on the Punisher plate in stead of night sights.

Gun is on top of the dresser, easy for bad guy to see/grab/shoot you.
Better to velcro that holster on the backside of the dresser.

      Where's the flashlight?

BTW: that's not a kydex holster, it's nylon

          Keep it business.
I've always seen this mindset as a fail. At best it is fairtale-ish wishful thinking. You own a gun. You used that gun. That is all the DA is going to need to motivate them to do exactly what you think you can somehow avoid by not modifying your gun. You're dreaming buddy. You're putting too much faith in the DA.

The DA will shamelessly twist and distort the truth about you and your motivations every possible way. That's their job - to lie about you in order to get a conviction because they believe you broke the law. It is gonna happen if your shoot is anything but 100% clean, and possibly even then. Just owning the gun in the first place will allow them to paint you as a murderous thug with a blood lust who wants to eat the hearts out of your neighbors children. Not having the little skull on the back of your gun is not going to change that. They will have no shame. They would not be proscuting if they did not think you belonged in jail, and they will lie 6 ways til Sunday to put you there. Nothing you do will minimize that. Deal with it.

Now for the fails. Not sure it is even a real gun. That is a weird looking magazine and there is weird looking thing on the side/top of the slide. Assuming it is real...The gun is still in the holster so that is time wasted fumbling in the dark. It does not have night sights so he is going to need a lot of ambient light to use it effectively. There is no flash light so again he'll need a lot of ambient light. There is no spare magazine, so that could be considered another fail. Very little ammo for the fight. Better hope there is only one home invader. Gangs now use the cartel method of invading homes with 5-10 armed gang members all at once. That shotgun or AR better be very close by. Otherwise this is just poor planning. Considering a mildly bad situation possible, but overlooking a truly nightmarish possibility. Leaving it out in the open like that is also a bad idea for a laundry list of reasons, some already stated above.

Punisher, smunisher. The design on the gun has nothing to do with whether or not you shoot a guy STANDING AT THE FOOT OF YOUR BED!

Prosecuter: One could argue that joe bob is a trigger happy gun nut. For instance, the skull design on his gun shows that he was waiting to shoot and kill someone

Joe Bob: Your honor. A man broke into my house. I shot him because he was in my bedroom.
California judge/jury: GUILTY!!! You should have defused the situation by letting him rob you. The police was just minutes away. Now a man is dead because of your overzealous vigilanteism.

To me, the fail is investing in the Punisher logo, but not night sights on a HD weapon.

                WTB used AK MFER.

The fail is you posting about it. Who cares what setup he has? The Punisher plate is $20. Night sites are a lot more. The argument that a DA is going to use it against you is stupid. You have a bunch of posts on Calguns. Does that make you a gun nut looking to kill someone?

you do know a few of us who view guns as a tool.... laugh when we see el cheapo holsters and punisher logos......

Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
