first range trip

took my mentally handicapped older brother to the range today for his very first time. we got to tryout my new m&p 40 together taught him about gun safety and why its important.

some of it. i was trying to teach him how to shoot in groups. it was at 20 feet. he was trying and got a couple around the edges.

Did you have him try different ways to grip the gun by chance?

couple but i showed him had him fire at our first target and that was the one he was most comfortable with. i was more worried about safety than accuracy. so it didnt matter
