I chose the P-01 due to your condition preference as a ccw.

if you found a single stack pcr tell me where please, i'll take one. the one that is in my hand atm is a double, the mags are double, and its holster certainly is not single. but i would buy one in a heartbeat.

Well, I just placed my order, no going back

I was really close to ordering the P-01, but after really looking at the specs on CZ's website with the guns being virtually identical, knowing that I never once have used a rail on a handgun, and thinking that it looks slightly better without the rail, I picked up the CZ-75D PCR.

My thinking is that it may end up replacing my S&W M&P9c as my winter carry gun. For how hard it has been to find one I feel like I got a half-way decent price. I ALMOST went with the CZ-75BD since I just saw it pop up in stock on Grabagun for $466 and some change, but since I tend to not really like full size guns as much I am going to hold off. If I end up really liking my PCR my next handgun purchase will be a CZ-75BD or possibly an SP-01.

Thanks again to everyone, especially those who suggested the P-01, since that is what pushed me into the PCR.

Time to go drop some of my gun money back into my bank account to make up for that little dent I just put in it, and order some mags.

              I'm playing the semantics game.

The only double stack modern CZ's are the p07 and p09, the rest are staggered mags.

Good call on the PCR Drifter. I'm still wishing the didn't stop production on the 2075P.
Personally, I'd never get a 75BD or B, not having the upswept beavertail ala sp01/p01/75SAO is a deal breaker to me.

Have you tried the thin aluminum grips? Might help slim it down a bit for you.

Personally, I hate them, the totally throw the ergos of the gun off for me, but they seem to be very popular with a lot of people.

i have seen them, thank you! i use the thin plastic grips and they suit my hands well. i stick with compact models as the full size gets a little weighty for me, and fatigues me faster. but i would still get a single stack if they had them (in addition to, not to replace lol). i changed my set up from 2 guns + kadet to 1 frame + 3 slides (.40 frame, .40 slide .9mm slide, .22lr slide) so i am due an addition.

The full size do get heavy pretty quick, especially if you are shooting a SP01.

I carry a poly gun, so my CZ resides at home. I'd love to find a 2075P though, hopefully one that works correctly.

Great choice on the PCR. Light and slimmer than the P01. The P01 is a bit heavier but with the rail you've got a great HD gun and range toy. Chickshooter is right though. Like potato chips, hard to just have 1. Now watch them magically multiply in your safe!

Definitely a great choice on the PCR. Besides the accessory rail, for me the biggest difference is the rear slide serrations. The PCR rear slide serrations feel slightly less aggressive than the P01's.

You have no idea what kind of predicament I will be in if I end up really liking this gun. It's about a 30 minute drive(thankfully I left Mesa or else it would be a 5 minute drive) from where I live to Ghost Products/CZ Custom...less that that if I head straight there from work...I have a bad feeling I am going to be lightening my wallet a bit over there
