    And Now, For Something Different........,

In the wake of all the "which Glock should I buy" and the "what is better, the 9mm or .40" not mention the "how many Glocks should I buy" threads, I thought I would post some pictures of this Colt Trooper I purchased the other day.

It had showed up at a LGS a few hours before as an estate consignment gun. I took one look at it and said "I'll take it". This one was made in 1968 and came with the box and all of the original paperwork that it came from the factory with. While it has been shot, it still rates about 95% condition and the fact that it has been used will make it easier emotionally for me to shoot it.

        Nice Colt.

        Thanks for sharing.
People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.

                Great find.

If you get a chance please post some pictures from the manual if it has illustrations.
I like the artwork in old manuals.

                      That's awesome!

I also thought it was weird that the box says both "Colt" and "Colt's"

But but but, can you drop it out of a space station, and after re-entry to the suface of mars, submerge it in alien water and still "DEPEND UR LIFE AHN IT in case SHTF???"

Beautiful pistol. Love love love old blue jobs. Nothing like old colt royal blueing.

More pictures!!!!!!!! Are you going to shoot it, or shall it be the duchess of noshootingham in your safe? When we say "emotionally easier" are we talking, actually going to shoot it, or just probably?

                          Congrats!
