That is one FINE 1911! How long did the work take? I've got a 9mm 1911 that's been at Cylinder and Slide for going on 2yrs now...

Looks nice, but why replace Baer parts with EGW? Seems like a strange choice?

Lots of rounds through this gun prior to work.
Extractor clocking more than a Timex watch, extractor test - failed.
                Erratic ejection patterns.
In my experience and training - EGW is a no brainer.

                    True story:

I had some work done at SACS, which among other things, included adding serrations to the top of a slide. When I got the pistol back, off to Rob at Alchemy it went for a few more odds and ends. When Rob got the pistol, he noticed that slide was missing a serration, so he took it upon himself to physically take the pistol to SACS, had them add the serration, and picked the pistol up a week later.
I had to send a pistol back to SACS, they forgot to high cut my front strap. After the pistol returned, they forgot to fit a EGW firing pin stop also, but I finally had it by then. I had just talked with them about fitting that part on the phone. They do good work, just irritating when they forget things.

Great story, the little extras go along way.

                    Thanks again, everyone!
