EBR is the best! Picked-up one, and DROS'd one, this Saturday (thank goodness for the 03FFL+COE exemption to 1-in-30! ).

In and out in no time. Awesome. Worth the drive from wherever you are!

If we lived in a state where buying a gun from a gun shop was a one-time trip, I'd totally consider it. But having to do it again 10 days later to pick up? That's the deal-breaker.

I'm a bay area resident, and have inlaws near to EBR that I should visit soon...

I did my GB purchase through them a few months ago. Great folks. Then, funny story, I bump into hem at turners in Oxnard. And they remembered me and my son. If I had more money to spend it'd be with them for sure. But alas, I don't.

why indeed.
the first version is actually more desirable just because walther discontinued it.

the only difference really was the mag release and different mags.
the only downside i can think of is the lack of support from walther in producing mags for the "classic" ppq.

i have to thank ebr works as well for facilitating my 2nd walther ppq purchase but this time the m2.

Last I heard, the PPQ M1 is going to be continuing production and Walther will continue to support it.
