I can see this thread has turned into a waist of time. So I'll admit defeat, thanks to some of you that posted legitimate responses. The Fort Knox pic was kind a funny.

I bury mine in the backyard and use my safe to hold my collection of Old Spice and Brut 33.
OP - Don't feel bad. My first thread on CG was a poll regarding how many guns people had on average. There were a lot of boating accidents that year.Gun Owner / NRA MemberComment

Ahhh, the paranoia runs deep in Calguns. People are so concerned with not showing or telling about their collection like it's some deviant porn you don't want mom knowing about. If someone really wants to know about your collection they can find out. Your itrader or past posts tell tales. You shooting your collection at the range tells tales. And I'm pretty sure that if the gestapo comes to take your guns away they ain't going to turn around and leave when you tell them about your boating accident.sigpic10mm collectorComment

I don't have a good shot of my firearms, but this is my modest ammo collection right now. I just started with a personal collection in November after I realized the Air Force hadn't had me shoot in half a decade. I live on base, so real safes aren't needed. I have 24 hour armed guards, lol. After my slides come back duracoated I'll show off my guns.

I will respectfully decline. .Gov doesn't get to see inside my safes.Comment

The big gray/green things are from Cabela's. I got two by buying 1k 9mm and 500 of 308 a while back, but ordered the third to store my new 10mm stuff. The 100 round things are MTM.

Also please send along your address and combinationI was sitting in the office and thought it would be fun to look into some safes from the members. I keep a very tidy safe because I like to display my California Handguns when I'm working in the office. I'm a big revolver fan as you can tell along with 1911's. I shoot everything I collect.
1. Tell me if you keep a display type safe or a functioning safe packed to the brim?
2. What is your favorite gun to collect?
3. Do you shoot all your Handguns?Comment

If I were a civilian I would agree with you completely, honestly. Being military I think it is just understood that I should have a small stash. I'd be afraid of attempted robbery if I lived off base too.
