    should i beadblast my slide?

my original plan was to beadblast my slide on my sig pro... yesterday i semi-polished my barrel, slide lock, and decocker. still need to do the trigger and considering the hammer.... also plan to get the ss guide rod

anyhow, should i leave the slide black, with the polished controls, or go for two - tone and send the slide out for bead blastsing?

No.. polish your barrel hood only, and be done with it. Customizing your slide may hurt value down the road.

Mirror polished slides are great, that way if you ever have to use it for self defense the bad guy can fix their hair...

Do whatever makes you happy, it's your money and your gun.

I tend to like to keep my guns black and as stock as possible. If you're ever going to carry your Sig, I'd steer clear of making it shiny in any way. If it's going to be a range-only toy, then do whatever you want as it doesn't really matter.

I can't stand auto pistols in a stainless configuration.... my barrel hood example was strictly because Sigs finish wears off right there anyway.

I wouldn't. Polished barrel is nice enough.

wow, lots of anti shiny here lol.

my main concern was the satin finish of beadblasting vs the gloss of polished controls, hood, etc.
im still on the fence, i kinda like the polished controls on all black now.

my ar pistol is going to be nickel plated and my gun is a stainless p220. i guess im bored with the all black look...
