Too bad they don't sell the safety bar itself, for those that care about looks.

Fulcrum trigger vs stock glock trigger

I bought the entire trigger pack, and in the end, the only part that actually stayed in the pistol is the trigger itself. I tried all sorts of combinations of ZEV and stock parts, and either the trigger got all mushy, or it started malfunctioning (for instance releasing the striker at trigger reset). What I realized was that for me, the most important thing was the feel of the trigger hitting the second stage, and the crispness of the break. I eventually sold the ZEV internals that I didn't use to a friend.
Since my fingers are relatively short, after coming out of the holster, my trigger finger would naturally rest on the right side of the trigger, causing a lot of shots to get pushed to the left. The shorter pull of the ZEV trigger allowed my finger to rest in the center of the trigger, and resulted in a much higher hit ratio.
I ran probably 3-400 rounds through it in a self defense course to ensure that there were no malfunctions before even considering carrying it for everyday use. In the thousands of rounds I've shot through it since, I haven't had a single malfunction that could be attributed to the trigger.Comment

To be completely honest, I don't know specifics, I only learned from tinkering. Are the 3.5# connectors universal..ie is there a specific one for the Glock 19 Gen 4?
Do you know the weight of the trigger spring in a Glock 19 Gen 4? What weight (heavier) trigger spring do you recommend?
Just like to start tinkering to see what each components does.
Personally, I attempted to find some kind of equivalent to an M&P DCAEK kit. I started by trying out the 3.5# connector with a NY1 trigger spring. Really wasn't for me as it really didn't seem "predictable".
The standard 3.5# connector with a polish job was really decent but the "back wall" of the trigger pull took a decent amount of force compared the DCAEK. Not a big deal, I would have been happy with this combo, but I decided to keep exploring.
I then tried the following kit in combination with a Glockworx race connector
The trigger became sooooooo light (at least with the reset) it was almost dangerous. Might be fun in some cases, but like I said, I was trying to get close to a DCAEK kit for an M&P.
I thought about it and tried a couple different combinations with this competition spring kit. I settled on the race connector with the trigger spring from the kit. To me it feels like a DCAEK with more slop in the pre/post travel.
I don't remember details of other combinations though (i.e. regular 3.5# connector with the trigger spring from the kit).Comment
