Well.. that was a buzzkill of a phone call.
A week ago I went to Riflegear and DROS'd a Sig 1911 .22 .. they just called and said the DOJ refused it due to the 1 in 30 day rule.
The problem is that I haven't bought ANY new handguns. A monthish ago I bought a PPT (done at OC Armory) from a Calgunner.. but that was used.
I doubt it was that since more recently I bought a Glock 17 Gen4 off a buddy in Tennesse.. He shipped it to OC Armory who did the single shot (SSE) deal on it. Now it was a private sale, but did doing an SSE on make it DROS like a new gun?
Sorta hard to go to Riflegear and redo the paperwork when I don't know what triggered the refusal.. Riflegear gave me the number to call, but said they never have any luck calling the DOJ.
Thoughts?
