This is the pin

This is the Trigger Pin. It has two notches that are held in place by the trigger that is supposed to prevent the trigger pin from walking (much like AR-15 trigger pins).

I agree, it sounds like the pin is not "notchy" enough and you might be able to get a Glock Armorer to replace it for free after contacting Glock warranty support.
