If that's true.... your work is over. Those are solid. However, for HD, you may want something with a rail so you can mount a light.

I wish my work was over. Its hard to track them down. The one I might get has a little under a thousand rounds through it and he wants 700 for it so I am deciding on that right now. A 75b is a potential. Preferably I would want a SP-01, CZ75 SP-01, or a compact 75 over a 75b.

If the person is the actual owner, No, you don't pay CA tax. You just pay the FFL transfer fee(which is taxed) and the DROS fee.

I thought you do pay tax if its shipped. I keep getting two different answers. I want to buy a gun from a private party and it will need to be shipped. Do i have to pay tax on it? That is my question, some people say ffl to ffl you have to pay tax while some say no. Can some one clear this up for me please.

I really like my Sig, but I'm currently thinking of selling it to fund a couple of other things I want, and I figure I can always get another down the road.

I LOVE my SP-01 and it's probably the last one I would sell, and that's only if I needed the money to survive.

^^^ It wasn't that long ago that CZ's were a true bargain... Unfortunately, they are no longer a secret.

Hahaha I can see what you mean. I really really want a CZ every one says impeciable things about them. The one problem I have is the 75b does not look that attractive to me in terms of how the front of the slide looks beyond the frame. But I have found a fix for this when you two tone the CZ. Any one want to sell one of their CZ's to me lol. And can some one help me understand the shipping of a firearm from a private partys ffl to my ffl. Do i Pay tax or not?

I suggest a few trips to a range that allows rentals, or you get in contact with someone here and ask them to let you shoot their weapons at a range. I am sure plenty of people here are willing, I would be if I was closer.
Try before you buy, see what is comfortable for you, see what is fun to shoot, etc, etc.

I sold my glock to fund another pistol and because I had bills that I needed to pay asap. Now that the bills are paid and I have some extra cash I can buy again. I know some people say you never sell guns only buy them well my glock wasn't enjoyable anymore for me. I even added different ergonomics and still didn't like it. My best friend wanted one and didn't want used. But he couldn't find a 17 new and knew I was thinking about getting ride of mine. I don't understand what the big deal is for some of you. I have other things to protect my family.

Okay guys I got a question. How much different is the recoil from 9mm to .40? I ask because there is a nice looking 97b that I am considering but it is 40 cal.
