It kind of annoys me that I'm more accurate with the P-01 than I am with my P228.

All about the ergos, my man. All about the ergos. And that Eagleshield trigger job helps, no doubt.

You should try my Matt Mink custom SP-01. Wow.

I think the trick is in the lighter and shorter slide. The trigger almost feels too light in SA and when I'm not concentrating, I even rarely do a double fire unintentionally. In rapid fire, I am more accurate with the P-01 for whatever reason.

Anyways, great gun, I might get another one.

Maybe the heavier pistol keeps the muzzle from rising as much?

Mine is a sub-compact, holds 10 rounds of 9mm. Very accurate.

I think the weight of a P228 and P-01 are almost identical. They're both compact pistols with alloy frames and steel slides.

CZ's have a lower bore axis than Sigs.

The CZ75B is one of the most widely used police and military handguns in the world. Mine has fed every piece of ammo I've tried including handloads, lead bullets, and JHP. I don't clean it much and it simply keeps on working.

I cannot recommend the 75B family more highly - the 75B, the 75SA (single action), or the SP01 are all fantastic handguns.

They point great and have great balance and because they are all steel they soak up the recoil and keep your sights on target.

Is the p-06 (.40 cal version of P-01) legal in California? I don't see "P-06" on the handgun list, but I do see .40 cal versions of CZ-75 on the list.

P-06 is not legal in California, and I'm no authority on this, but it would seem as thought the only difference between the P-06 and the CZ-75 Compact .40 S&W is that the P-06 has a decocker, while the Compact .40 retains the traditional CZ safety.

I shot my RAMI today it is a very accurate 9MM I recommend any CZ, you may want to do some trigger work but other than that they are golden.

Upon closer inspection, there actually are more differences than the one I mentioned above. The Compact .40 is all steel, while the P-06 (like the P-01) has an alloy frame. Also, the Compact .40 has more of a beavertail than the P-06.

With the exception of the break-in period. The only problem I have had with my compact, is finding accessories for it. Very accurate, very reliable.

You could always get one of those CZ bayonet attachments.
