I was at Turner's yesterday for the 25% gift card deal. I was looking for a Glock 21SF which they were out of, but they had just received 10 Glock 19's in the "warehouse" and they should have 17's this week. I checked 2 stores (Norwalk / W. Covina) and both said they were waiting on orders. I've heard everything from "they got held up in customs" to "the government placed a huge order at the first of the year" as reasons for the short supply. At this rate I think it will be a while before I can find a 21SF or 30sf unfortunately.

Not sure about a shortage, but I also had to wait for my G17 a couple months ago to come in. I waited almsot 3 weeks. The shop was only receiving one G17 per shipment for some reason. Shortage? Maybe. When mine came in, it was the only one and jumped on it 2 days after it arrived. I know there is a production shortage on Ruger and S&W revolvers.

Wow that does suck. I was looking at the prices a year or two ago and a store here in San Diego had a bunch of models in stock I was asking about the G17 and I found them for $550.00. How much are they running now?

Next year I can get one just dont know what one. Im used to the Browing Hi-power 9mm.

Yeah if you are LEO/MILL you can get the G18 (Full Auto) with a letter from your Dept head and any Glock sold to law enforcement is about $399 and that price includes three LE magazines and free shipping.

thats bad news. i'm ready to buy me a G19! i was hoping to find a good deal locally but if there's a shortage i probably won't find that good deal.

Don't you need a class 3 license if you are going to personally own an 18? As well you would need the ATF tax stamp too. I would sincerely hope that PD's would be real stingy about approving officers having something like that. But thats just me...

I went into ammobros in cerritos on tuesday and they had a G19 for $535 may or may not be cheaper than what your paying at turners.

turners got some G17s for their $519 sale..but still no G19s...

is there a Turner's around you guys? they are on sale for $519.99. or try topglock.com or summitgunbroker.com. both their price on g17,19,22,23 are $459. tg charge $19 for shipping, and summit charge $15. i just order my g22 from TG on 20th last month, it get to my dealer's door at 29th. for what i know, summit has better cs and fast shipping but they don't have many 10rd mag for us califorian.
